About this product
Basil seeds, called sabja or tukmaria, are tiny and black and swell into a soft, jelly-coated bead when soaked in water. They have almost no taste, so they take on the flavour of the drink or dessert they go into.
Soak for 10 to 15 minutes, then stir into falooda, sharbat, lemonade and kulfi, or add to milk and fruit drinks.
